I have reached the end of week 4 on my final placement as an OT student! And although these times are so uncertain and scary I can still say I love the career I have chosen and I am so thankful for the amazing NHS colleagues I have the pleasure of working alongside💚💙#NHSheroes

Feeling shattered after my first day working as an OT! However I have thoroughly enjoyed it and am so excited for where this amazing career will take me - I also cannot believe all the support from the gorgeous OT community on twitter - deffo feeling the love💚💚💚

After another busy week at work last night I found out I have achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy🎉 I can’t quite believe it - One massive part of my life has come to a close, onto the next adventure as a qualified OT💚

Almost 3 months working as a qualified OT! I think the main things I have learnt so far are to always keep that OT focus and consistantly refer back to my OT toolkit! Also focusing on a work/life balance and taking time to reflect💚

I have been quiet on here for a while mainly because the last couple of months have been so overwhelming and busy, I did not think this time last year as a final year student that in my first year as a qualified OT I would be doing this - so proud of myself and this profession💚

Almost 3 Years working in the NHS as an Occupational Therapist - I have worked in both a physical health setting and a Learning disability / Mental Health setting - Although there are absolutely challenges, I can still say I LOVE what I do💚
