On #NationalTeaDay we are reminded of the powerful oral history interviews collected by the Hidden Now Heard project. Lack of choice around tea drinking was a common thread through the recordings. Teapot from Bryn y Neuadd Hospital, Llanfairfechan.

I wish I had the opportunity to go and buy my daughter her little uniform for starting pre-school. Our village school made it clear she wasn't wanted because she's disabled and the council still haven't granted an EHCP to enable her to go elsewhere. Sadness is overwhelming today.

We are saddened to hear about the passing of Phyllis Jones, one of the first former Hensol patients we interviewed for the project back in 2014. She shaped so much of what we learned about life at the hospitals and challenged many of our perceptions too.
