Thank you to Chris at Bilton Co-Op and his team for letting Harrogate Blue watch use their venue for training last Sunday. The crew did some Breathing Apparatus training at the venue, helping keep our skills up to date 🚒🔥

After 26 years of service, Crew Manager James Winder of Red Watch retired last night Jim was at Harrogate for 23 years and was previously based at Selby, Richmond and Ripon Fire Stations, also completing stints at HQ and the training centre. We wish Jim a happy retirement!

Today at 15.38, crews from Harrogate 🚒released a 6 month old labrador puppy 🐕 called Willow who had her head stuck in a concrete wall in the garden. Crews used hand tools to release Willow who was unharmed.
