3/5 It shouldn’t be possible for a single person to move funds secretly. Large cryptocurrency transfers should require signatures from multiple parties. And the underlying system should also be ABFT. So it should start with the guaranteed finality of BFT without the “A”.

4/5 And it should also have the leaderless DDoS resilience of the “A” in ABFT. If there’s never a leader, even for a moment, then you can’t shut down the whole ledger by shutting down a single computer at a time (a DDoS “follow the leader” attack).
