Well done to Chelsea who’s supporting her first group of families through our latest antenatal workshop. While these sessions introduce families to PEEK Possibilities for Each and Every Kid they are also a starting point for peer support and friendships 🤰🫄🫃Cattanach

Today we were joined by ParentNetworkScotland who introduced our families to the wellbeing toolkit 🧠 Which led to lovely discussions around what parents can do to fill their own cup 🌈 "I was all focused on my son, until I went to my own art class & created something for me" 🎨 #teampeek

Last week at Play Cafe we went swimming in the deep blue sea! 🌊 The little ones got to enjoy lots of water play as we worked on our fine motor skills and explored different animals that live in the water 🐳🐠 #PEEKWellbeing #TEAMPEEK

A wholesome end to our 5 week antenatal block tonight. We welcomed GlasgowSlingLibrary who offered families baby wearing support. Followed by our baby vest painting and bump photos shoot. Can’t wait to welcome families back to PEEK at Play Cafe with their little ones ❤️

Really excited to welcome our new Lead Community Chef RhonaMPEEK 🧑‍🍳 She has already got stuck in at our weekly garden group with Amma Birth Companions 🧡 making delicious meals on the fire each week. We can't wait for the return of #PEEKACHEW in the coming weeks 🍕🌽🍏🥙 #PEEKWELLBEING

Back in Washhouse Gardens yesterday with Amma Birth Companions 🧡 braving the rain for a delicious meal of homemade baked beans, homemade slaw and baked potatoes. It was all hands on deck with our lovely families getting stuck in with the cooking too and what a feast we made! #PEEKwellbeing

Great event today by Mental Health Foundation launching their Small Talk Resource for lone parents in the perinatal period. Our Wellbeing team is excited to learn from the involved partners, parents and resources and to tune into the Big Steps Small Changes podcast. #perinatalmentalhealth
