it is a very well written and beautiful musical but as i've thought about it, i've become sort of uncomfortable with some elements of it

as a poc, i think the casting is great, but i feel like the casting of black people as slave owners is in some ways erasing that and making

people more sympathetic towards them

i am also very uncomfortable fans of hamilton who are idolizing these slave owners and unable to separate this work of fiction from these +

+ actual people who were in reality pretty awful people.
