Multicultural event + Coordinate Planes + Geography + tape donations from amazing staff+ some ambitious 5th graders = A coordinate plane of Africa 🖤 Next step: each class will represent the country they are studying by using coordinates to locate and map it out with tape.

Today our #TrustyHuskies traveled around the world at our building-wide multicultural event! These third graders were LOVING learning about another country in the fifth grade pod. #CPSbest

Today #TrustyHuskies were working on finding the volume of prisms when I walked into #CPSbest Ms. Hall’s class. Students were able to tell me the process of finding the volume, as well as other notable facts about prisms. Just as important though, students were having FUN!

Ms. Halls huskies were applying those skills we reviewed the other day on Volume with MARSHMALLOWS! That got some head turns today 🖤 They were able to build a prism and identify all the parts to calculate the volume. Keepin those previously taught standards freshhhh! #CPSbest
