Three and a half years ago I walked into this hospital in my new suit to interview for my dream medical school. Today I walked into the same building in the same suit for SENIOR PICTURES. WHAT? I’m so blessed 💙💛

Crying because of how shocked I was to hear “guilty”. Crying because of what it took to get here. Crying because this is considered a victory. Crying because this won’t bring Mr. Floyd back.

Sometimes I’m really, really hard on myself for not accomplishing everything I’ve wanted to accomplish by now. Then I remember the strength it required for me to even get to where I am, and suddenly I’m proud. Remember to give yourself grace! You deserve it.
