12 April 2021 River Watch update! Levels rose slightly over the past two days, but are expected to level off and then fall again. We may almost be out of the flood season.

While on Council, I have attended 100s of events on behalf of Rothesay residents and never missed a Council meeting-that's how dedicated I am to the job! I have kept a detailed list of the events I have attended on my website, which can be found here: mattalexander.ca/events/

You've been asking for the stats! Election campaigns are a lot of work. Working a full-time job while campaigning means there isn't a lot of downtime after getting out into the community in the evenings and on the weekends, but I thoroughly enjoy working on behalf of residents.

Due to the lockdown that occurred in Edmundston, the election date there has been postponed until May 25th. That means the election results for the entire province are delayed until May 25th; however, voting day still remains May 10th here.

Nearing the finish line for the door-to-door delivery of my election postcards. Thought I would share a snapshot for two of my biking delivery tracks. The one on the left was from the evening of Thursday 29 April and the one on the right was from the afternoon of Sunday 25 April.

If you're just getting up and think it's not nice out, you're absolutely right, it's not! High winds, rain, pooling water will slow your commute. Today slow is good, pooling water can cause hydroplaning if you're driving too fast. Drive safe 🚗🚙 😊
