There is a lot blooming in the Gardens at the moment, one of them being the flowering perennial Alliums. The Alliums are doted around the Walled Gardens, so do look out for them while having a relaxing stroll. They are a favourite with bumblebees, honeybees and butterflies.

A standout event this month is the return of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR) on Sunday 19th May, 12.30pm - 4pm, when approximately 200 motorbikes will make their way into the city, gracing North and East Street with their presence and creating a spectacular display.
