If the FY 2020 budget is approved, the City of Albany’s budget would be around $288 million. This is a 5.6% increase from last year. City Manager Sharon Subadan says there would be no millage rate increase and no increase in utility rates or fees to account for the increase.

A new affordable housing complex will be built in East Albany. The Dogwood Trails Apartments will be built on Marie road. The complex will offer meetings for residents, partnerships with the Boys & Girls Club and monthly visits from Albany Area Primary Health Care.
