Yesterday at 12:30 pm the Engine, Truck, Engine Tanker and Chief were dispatched for a dwelling fire in the “Dominion” neighborhood of Kent Island. E-25 stretched the front bumper line and worked to extinguish the fire while Truck 2 laddered the home and assisted with opening up

Engine 22 traveled to MFRI in Centreville this morning to assist the High School Votec program conducting a live fire burn.

With their upcoming Grand Opening, the New Jersey Mikes Subs shop on Kent Island dropped two bags of delicious subs off to the members staffing the firehouse yesterday afternoon. Thanks for the Support!

4/2/25 at 3:52 p.m., Engines 25 and 22, Truck 2, Engine Tanker 2, and Chief 2 along with Mutual Aid companies were alerted for a Boat on Fire at Safe Harbor Marina in the 2-19 Box. Chief 2 arrived on scene with smoke showing from a boat that was dry docked on land.

4/6/25 - GVFD traveled to MFRI in Centreville to conduct a refresher on pump operator skills. Our units spent the morning reviewing numerous skills before returning to Grasonville around lunchtime. Thanks to Goodwill Fire Company E-45 for covering Grasonville during the drill

4/8/25 - Engines 25 & 22, Truck 2, and Chief 2 responded to the 300 Block of Grasonville Cemetery Rd for a reported dwelling fire. Chief 2 arrived to find fire showing from a single story dwelling.

Thursday May 22nd - GVFD Members Jon Guy and Austin Taylor Graduated from the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute UESRTC High School VOTEC Program.
