We're pleased to be sharing this little bit of good news today. This investment is about creating collective power & resilience & sharing our resources with more disabled people from more orgs. Graeae Theatre never takes the easy route & I'm proud of that. More over the coming weeks.
It's #ThrowbackThursday and we're reminiscing on 'The House of Bernada Alba' An incredible 2018 Royal Exchange Theatre & Graeae Theatre co-production, featuring internationally acclaimed actor Kathryn Hunter, an all-female cast & was directed by our patron Jenny Sealey ➡️ buff.ly/4dwj56L
Very happy for our downstairs neighbours Graeae Theatre! 🥳
We're looking forward to working with them to help make Bradbury Studios even more accessible and welcoming for disabled artists
We’re thrilled to have been awarded funding through Arts Council England Capital Investment Programme.
The money will enable us to transform our Bradbury Studios base, improving accessibility & opening the doors to more arts organisations & disabled artists. #LetsCreate Department for Culture, Media and Sport
“I’m lucky, I found Graeae. It allowed me to be Deaf in the way I understand me being Deaf.”

Arthur Hughes is a legend of his own making & I can't wait to watch Shardlake. So proud that his time with Graeae Theatre in Solid Life of Sugar Water was so positive though. We had no cash & the decision to do it came from a feeling of 'we can't NOT do this show'

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is the first time in Desert Island Discs' history that a BSL version of the show has been released. BBC Radio 4 Is this right? Beautifully edited and interpreted, including clips from the songs. Visit Graeae Theatre website.
Feels like a pretty good time to share this.
Featuring some familiar Access All Areas faces and the mighty, much missed voices of Ed Percival and Sophie Partridge- both fierce, creative fighters for human rights ❤️
