Woodmen Athletics would like to formally welcome Mike Cambell as our new Director of Athletics! Mr. Campbell previously served as the Assistant Athletic Director for several years and is also the Head Coach of Woodmen Football! Welcome, Mr. Campbell!

Outstanding things happening today for GMWIG! The jazz band performed at the Pendleton Jazz Festival. The JV Guard, Varsity Guard, and Winter Percussion had practice. And a wonderful crew of volunteers and workers set up for the Greenwood IHSCGA Invitational tomorrow.

Saturday was a great day for GMWIG! Indoor Percussion placed 1st at the IPA Decatur Central Contest. All three winter guards performed at the IHSCGA Northview Contest. The Varsity Guard placed 3rd in Open Class. Also, several students participated at ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble.

Today, we have strawberry pick-up at Greenwood Middle School from 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. We could use some help unloading at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Middle School.

Gold for Jazz Band on Friday. 2nd place out of 11 groups and an 80.025 for Indoor Percussion tonight. JV Guard made IHSCGA Semi Finals and Varsity Guard made IHSCGA State finals. Great day today Greenwood!

Outstanding effort by the Wind Ensemble and the Symphonic Band this evening at ISSMA Organizational Festival. Gold Ratings for both ensembles and Gold Ratings in Sight-Reading. Wind Ensemble also received “With Distinction” and also had a judge give them a perfect score.
