Two important new documents about trans healthcare have been published that we hope could really help to improve services. Healthcare Improvement Scotland have published national standards for gender identity services and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) have published a Transgender Care Knowledge & Skills framework

Yesterday, as well as publication of national standards for gender identity services, a transgender care knowledge and skills framework, and an update from the Minister for Public Health and Women's Health to Parliament, a new Gender Identity Healthcare Protocol was published
