Last year for nurses day my amazing team on D8 bought me tickets to see sister act at the mayflower theatre! Today I got to see it with my best friend! It was amazing!!! Thank you so much ❤️

In medicine we arranged a raffle for our staff (all free) prizes donated by matrons, league of friends, care group team, and NHSP. Also gave out pens, sweets and shopping tokens etc! Continuing with well-being I decided to download the shiny mind app we have been given access to at UHS- enjoying the wave 🌊 sounds as you open it! Particularly like the gratitude section!

Over the last 4 weeks Steve and I have had the great pleasure of teaching 239 staff across medicine about fundamentals of care, the importance of teamwork and being kind! Great discussions and ideas- we are so very lucky to have these wonderful staff in our care group 💜 University Hospital Southampton 💙

It’s always good to time to reflect and share about our services what we need for continued service growth but also to be able to share how innovative, passionate and caring our MDT are.

Is there a medicine matron what’s app group/ network? Would be good to join one or create one? I have heard this has been useful and supportive for other matrons!?
