The Guardians should play for #1 seed in the AL and even for best MLB record. They have a 48-28 record at home, so why not having the home field advantage throughout the playoffs?

The M’s probably need this Julio in Houston to avoid allowing the other team to celebrate clinching the division while they are there. The division is already out of the equation, but it would still be demoralizing

If you watched how the M’s played since June 19, you shouldn’t be surprised that they lost the division. It just came on the right day against the right rival’s home ballpark to maximize the pain
