There are ✌️ types of sleep paralysis: hypnagogic and hypnopompic. Hypnagogic occurs when you become aware you're about to fall asleep and can't move, and hypnopompic occurs when you become aware mid-REM sleep cycle and can't move. Either way, we hear it's terrifying. 😱
