Today in Berlin: Opening of the #BerlinProcess Civil Society & Think Tank Forum. In her opening remarks, 🇩🇪 State Minister for Europe Anna Lührmann warned against shrinking spaces for civil society in the WB countries. Free CivSoc organisations are a cornerstone of democracy. #EU

The European Union is only complete with the Western Balkans as part of it. We're celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Berlin Process — a success story.   Let us add further chapters to this story — until the European future for the Western Balkans is a reality. 1/2

Today, we have taken more steps to make life easier for citizens in the region: with even closer economic cooperation and more mobility between the countries. In this way, we are bringing the Western Balkans closer to EU standards. 2/2

At today's 10th anniversary #BerlinProcess Summit, hosted by Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, further significant progess was made in fostering WB regional integration, in particular regarding the WB Common Regional Market, and, at the same time, bringing the WB6 closer to the 🇪🇺.

Meeting really great women in Bar today: NGO Žene Bara are doing admirable voluntary work supporting vulnerable persons in need of social assistance - another fine example for a 🇲🇪 NGO that deserves support for its contribution to make 🇲🇪, and the world, a better place.
