Today marks the end of my first week as a Mining Environmental Specialist at Wardell Armstrong International @WA_LLP! I am extremely excited to immerse myself in the team and get involved with their wide range of projects, as well as working in this beautiful part of London ⛏️🏙

Something a little bit different today... Yesterday I joined the ecology team at Wardell Armstrong to undergo a bat survey @WA_LLP! It was so nice to get out into the fresh air and hear bat calls on the survey device 🦇 Got some lovely wet feet in the process too 😁

I can't believe it's already been 5 weeks since I started at @WA_Mining... I've had the opportunity to dive deep into some incredible international projects, and am so grateful for all of the knowledge I have gained so far!

A small delight to share here - I got to visit the iconic London Metal Exchange building this evening with Women in Mining UK! You always hear about these places at university and in the media, and it's crazy that this is my life now... Feeling very grateful today ❤️

A great day in the @WA_LLP London office last Monday with a full day of First Aid, including forestry First Aid. It's always nice to have a refresher, especially because my previous qualification runs out this year! I can now say this may be the safest office on Chancery Lane! ⛑️

An exciting site visit this week helping the ecologists at @WA_LLP with a Roman Snail translocation! 🐌 Roman snails are the UK's largest species of snail and are protected by law, so require relocation should they be potentially impacted. (Additional fact: they are very cute🐌)
