Another paper drop today!

I completely agree with Joshua Hoddinott's take here. The conclusions drawn in this paper are absolutely ridiculous and the authors' failure to discuss (or even acknowledge) the systemic biases against #WomenInSTEM is baffling.

I've been using brainstorm's awesome source localization toolbox for years so I'm absolutely chuffed to see one of our papers referenced on their website.

That feeling when you don't have institutional access to your own paper...

Hey, I defended my Ph.D. yesterday. Big thanks to my examiners Laura Batterink, Charles Weijer, @drmarcj, and Edmund Lalor for their fantastic questions and, of course, to my amazing supervisors Prof. Adrian M. Owen OBE, FRS and Bobby Stojanoski.

I am delighted to announce that I received my first cold-call application from a student wanting to work in my lab. Their research interests are not even remotely aligned with mine, they already have a Ph.D., and I do not have a lab. Friends, today, I became a real scientist.

It has been an absolute honour to work on this project and with such an amazing team of scientists, including Loretta Norton, Marat Slessarev MD PhD, Derek Debicki, Teneille Gofton (not on Twitter), and many others.

It's been over a month now so...I'm delighted to announce that I joined the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah as a Research Analyst. I'll be working on the autonomic sequelae of traumatic brain injury, investigating how the (injured) brain and body interact.
