Progress continues on a Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund supported project to survey & update #IUCNRedList assessments of Indonesian #Magnolia species. Last month BRIN Indonesia researchers surveyed 2 sites in West Sumatra, located mature individuals, and collected seedlings of Magnolia sumatrae.
