Finally watched one of Akira Kurosawa's many masterpieces in 4K...Ran. Like watching a painting come to life, it's astonishing how good this still looks. Not to mention the performances and costume design. Beautiful.

Remember when Grogu was a cute baby that was important to the main character and helped him grow? Now he's basically a Muppet doing flips and being thrown off-camera at bad guys because he's a massive merch seller.

This and EA's recent acquisition are perfect examples of the 'benefit literally no-one but the shareholders' mindsets that continue to plague (and ruin) the games industry. *sigh*

The first two paragraphs are potentially the most corporate AI nothing-speak I've ever seen in a layoff announcement. If you're going to fire people, have the balls to actually say it, you absolute ghouls.
