The Environmental & Gardening Club talked about the FV Moon Tree & its connection to the upcoming Artemis II launch. Mrs. Brooks (Penn State Extension) spoke about winter gardening. Everyone created a plastic milk/water jug winter greenhouse & planted flower or vegetable seeds.

At Tuesday’s PSD School Board meeting, schools presented to the board about the district’s new curriculum. Thank you, Mrs. Stoudt and Leanna, for sharing what you are learning from Arts and Letters in first grade!

At the February Environmental and Gardening Club meeting, Mrs. Brooks from the Penn State Extension explained the benefits of using seed tapes for spring planting. Afterward, all the students got to make their own seed tapes using toilet paper and carrot seeds.
