Fantastic evening to be back with John and Sandy at Forestavenue - Food was sensational. The pumpkin, peanut, crab and seaweed salad and the parsnip velouté with red curry and almond were favourites. The chanterelle mushroom ice cream dessert is just super.

I could wax lyrical about Forestavenue but also I could just eat their bread and butter all day. Took some home for breakfast. An extraordinary meal but also one with the added knowledge we have of John’s personal journey as he and Sandy navigated Covid. Book a table. Gerard Maguire
