nixpkgs is not too big to scale, there are just people leading it for social justice points instead of making it better. It could have been made amazing if is interests to change the culture into building stuff instead of seeking political dominance. I do plan to talk to SC

Sam Rose Domen Kožar Thomas Bereknyei 100%, with the podcasts I've been on and just talking to people it is a difficult thing to explain. Though I think Farid Zakaria did an awesome job to explain it at Nix Vegas recently. If we had more people like him explaining it, it might be easier for people to pick up.
