Could Percy's ghost story from S2 and Rusty's from S5 be the same?

Thomas and the Storyteller is a sweet and sadly overlooked episode from the 11th season of Thomas. I think it well pays homage to the roots of franchise, starting out as stories for children. Although, there is one way it could've been better... Happy 80th Anniversary!
