I've started a new collection on objkt featuring images of virtually 'planted' gene edited wild chicory plants inspired by biotechnology and German Romanticism. This image was made at the Romantic Museum in Frankfurt before Novalis' seminal text featuring the blue flower idea

I have just collected "Blue Flower AR at the Romantic Museum with the Novalis Manuscript" by Anna Dumitriu . Very interesting project, discussing the cultural and symbolic history of the blue flower, recontextualized to think about synthetic biology and its future implications .

I've just added a new work on objkt made in the Goethe's garden in Frankfurt with virtually 'planted' gene-edited wild chicory plants. The blue flower in German Romanticism inspired Goethe to write the "Metamorphosis of Plants" and he said "the unnatural that too is natural"

I've just added a new work on objkt from my Blue Flower collection made in Rome Botanical Gardens (Orto Botanico di Roma). It was a very physical work to create as I had to run around to digitally 'plant' the chicory using our AR app and continually step back to compose it
