Hi #CSAQT

I know I haven’t been around for a while. I’ve been trying to protect myself from social media. But I’m as low as I’ve ever been. Sat in the kitchen with a knife at my throat today, too scared to live and too scared to die 😢#CSAQT

Lot of stress recently and night terrors have started up again. I fear sleep 😫 Can anyone relate? Where you feel paralysed and you’re being attacked and you’re screaming to wake up. You think you’re awake but it’s not stopping, until eventually you actually DO wake up

Music is keeping me afloat atm. Ive been practicing my bass playing a lot this year and I’ve got a YouTube channel 4covers of songs I like: youtube.com/channel/UCWiEH… I’m no brilliant player but it’s a brilliant hobby. If you like any of my videos I could do with a confidence boost!

It’s too much 😫 im so close to ending it. Just my daughters face keeping me alive…so far

Hi guys. I have pretty good relationships with nature I think, and it helps to calm and soothe me to get out in the countryside. I’m lucky to live in beautiful south west England. #SurvivorTough

Being able to escape to the moor or just a field in the middle of nowhere, no people, no traffic, no buildings, and just let the emotions pour out, is really valuable for me. Done a lot of crying in fields 😅 #SurvivorTough

Lots of fun living in a house with your in-laws while you go through a separation. After 20 years of good relationships with these people I’m now being blanked in my own home 🤬

Today I move out having separated from my wife. We’ve been together for 20yrs. I have a young daughter. Separation is fairly amicable but…someone tell me it’s going to be ok…as a dad who dearly loves his daughter 🥺😭

Pain and struggle from all directions at the moment. Am using numbing tactics

I could happily sleep for a month

As a lifelong ‘fawner’ I’m taking a moment to recognise that this year I have stood up to people and situations that have made me miserable. I’m suffering in the short term but it’s all for the best. Me from 3 years ago would be in utter disbelief that I could make these changes

When we’re raised in dysfunctional homes, we believe it’s selfish or wrong to have boundaries or limits. Becoming emotionally healthy means honoring our own needs— something we might have never done. Even if it brings up guilt.

Had a lovely day with my beautiful little daughter, and now I’ve gone back to my empty house and feel…bereft, empty,, alone 😩
