Tom Lancaster I never see the Telegraph complaining about golf courses - thousands of acres of potentially productive land, smothered with nitrates and herbicides, and not a turnip nor a potato in sight

Firstly, it seems to question how interconnectors - undersea cables that transport electricity between Britain and a few neighbouring countries - work:

'In theory, interconnectors are meant to facilitate two-way traffic, and ministers claim they will allow ...

Hello, fellas and supporters of democracies around the globe. Please read this and share it as much as you can.

- There have been protests for over 20 days in Georgia.

Writing a piece on a new climate report coming out later today that is, frankly, blood freezing in the veins terrifying.

THREAD 🧵: Donald Trump isn't just bleeding the RNC dry of funds, he's bleeding the party of voters. Those who know how he works best, his own former employees, are refusing to give him their vote.

Don't take our word for it, listen to them:

Yet another scandal coming from a failure to fund public services in line with the demands we put on them - with an added slice of nonsense from a belief that contracting out will give better outcomes.

My daughter has young children and a large pond - she has installed a rigid open plastic network just under the surface. The kids can’t fall in but the ducks fish herons and other wild life can live with it.
