📢 Tomorrow at 3:00pm our Head of Policy Maria Booker will be giving oral evidence at the Energy Security and Net Zero Committee as part of their inquiry: How can Britain ensure secure, affordable energy for all? Watch live here👇

A clip from yesterday's Energy Security and Net Zero Committee session with our Head of Policy Maria Booker, as she discusses the importance of long term energy bill support, in the form of a social tariff.

Our Head of Policy Maria Booker spoke at the Local Government Association Financial Inclusion Webinar this week. Here 📹 Maria explains how No Interest Loan Schemes in the North East are helping to provide credit to people who can’t currently access it.

Good news for older people struggling to pay energy bills. As we told Energy Security and Net Zero Committee last week, an energy social tariff is the best way to support everyone on a low income, including pensioners. We urge Gov to take further action and introduce a social tariff. #winterfuelpayment

Ensuring access to affordable credit to those who need it is essential. Thanks to Rt Hon John Glen MP who joined us to hear stories from the Give Me Some Credit exhibition and support financial inclusion.

Good to see that energy bills can be cut quickly when there is a will. Look forward to the Government slashing energy bills for those on low incomes via a social tariff Fair By Design #energysocialtariff
