Scholars recently learned more about their favorite reads directly from their authors! Goodwil Excel DC hosted Zee Clarke, who penned "Black People Breathe: A Mindfulness Guide to Racial Healing," and PK classes E.W. Stokes Community Freedom PCS heard Lesley Younge read her new book, "A-Train Allen!"

Tomorrow: Drop off your book donations at The Well at Oxon Run by DC Greens (300 Valley St. SE) but stay for the Earth Day celebration! The Well is an amazing, welcoming community space that has activities and demonstrations for residents of ALL ages.

Fifth grade scholars at E.W. Stokes Community Freedom PCS recently traveled to Martinique and Panama! They toured sights like the Panamanian Presidential Palace and La Savane des Esclaves museum and viewed the diverse flora and fauna. Check out some of their highlights!
