We've had three tornadoes in the last month in #WNY. Welcome to the #ClimateCrisis. Meanwhile, NY Assembly Majority won't pass sensible legislation like #NYHEAT ACT that creates or preserves 1000s of jobs, save NYers $100s millions, and paves the way to clean energy tech. 🤔

🩺 One reason universal broadband is so important: More than half of American households use the internet for health-related activities—so the digital divide spurs a health care access divide. pew.org/4fyZ6pa

The #RacialWealthGap is so apparent at the Starbucks in Sheridan (and the rest of the suburbs of #Buffalo). It's like if Elmwood Village had a cousin with huge implicit bias issues and lived in a detached garage just to have "privacy".

I'm almost never in Twitter (refuse to call it anything else) anymore but right that this was worth sharing for anyone who didn't know already. Elon Musk isn't some generational mind so much as another white guy who fails upward. instagram.com/reel/DAES1Vfis…

Need more demographic breakdown of this data but suspecting white women are the driver of this split. Begs the question of the appeal of a candidate like Trump who (at least as an individual) so practically contradicts the economic, political & social realities of these voters.

CNC tool programmers [and presumably machinists] - the literal folks we've spent a decade trying to train through the WNY regional economic development strategy - are in the AI crosshairs. McKinsey does it again. perplexity.ai/page/microsoft…
