Today was National School Meals Week #MeatFreeMonday @EldonPrimary we took a step into the dining area and spoke to some children, educating them on #nutrients and how their food effects their bodies! 🍝 Loads of empty plates 🍽

We have roast dinners for #SchoolLunch on a Wednesday because everyone should experience such a delicious dish! 🍗 Juicy chicken, fluffy spuds, crunch carrots, and creamy peas drizzled with flavourful gravy. What's not to like?

We've teamed up with thefelixproject to use up ingredients during #LunchTime at some of our sites, which would have otherwise ended up in a #landfill. 🌍💚 We also request parents to come along and rescue some ingredients and use them for their dinner. National School Meals Week

As part of @LACA National School Meals Week campaign to #ReduceFoodWaste we have partnered up with the thefelixproject to save these items from a landfill. Crates are set up for parents @EldonPrimary to rescue this perfectly good food to enjoy for dinner tonight. 💚🌎
