IMO the two greatest lifehacks (in order):

1. Choose the right life partner.
2. Choose the right place to live.

These two force-multiply happiness, quality of life, and opportunities. Been lucky with how I made these two decisions — would not change a thing.

Never trust words. Only actions.

Sounds simple, but it’s amazing how much is revealed when you ignore what people say and just watch what they do.

I think the software market will expand significantly over the next decade. All of the long-term drivers for software adoption are still playing out. But, I think another big driver for growth is the transformation of much of the services economy into software.

When we made money from startups. A friend told us to put it in other asset classes and avoid startups for a while. We thought he was mad and we were smarter.

It turns out he was smarter. He invested in water delivery to residences. The business has grown 5x. He bought land too
