This is a big deal. This level of enrollment churn between public schools, charters, private schools, and homeschooling will have massive implications for school finance. What we don’t know is how permanent this is. Can we really predict where families are going to stay?

Wow.

Districts should be doing everything possible to provide parents with the options that FAMILIES want. Not doing what's easiest for the districts. Not doing what the district thinks is best for families. Not limiting options. Ask families what they want & deliver it.

Kids needed connection. Schools got them online. The governor's leveraging federal funds to help cover the cost.
