People always say I’m good with words. People were expecting words from me following CharlieFest 2024 on Saturday.

And while I always knew the words would come, it’s taken me a few days to really think about what I wanted to say about the day 💛

The most salads ever seen on a receipt. A billionaire for dessert. An escape room that made us jump multiple times. When you wake up still laughing from the day before, it’s a sign of a good time with people you’ve been friends with for over 30 yrs & also a double #BeThankful ❤️

Got distracted last night and forgot to post 🤦🏻‍♀️

But the #BeThankful goes to Miss C for filling this for me ready for next week… and remembering to count all the sweets before they went in the jar. Unlike my epic fail of two years ago 🤣

Brilliant. I’m getting one bottle of champagne delivered tomorrow. Trying to update the order and it didn’t save in time. I think I need to #BeThankful that it’s bedtime. Tomorrow is another day 🤦🏻‍♀️

Did something today I have not done in years. I read an actual book on the commutes into and home from work. I’d forgotten how much I love a Harlan Coben book. And I’m going to #BeThankful for the reminder 📖

Sometimes you just need to stop. Have a night off from responsibility and the real world. Have some wine and sausages (because it’s tradition). A lovely evening as always spent with Rowena Mearley and definitely something to #BeThankful for ❤️

Hi British Airways. I filed a damaged luggage claim at Heathrow Airport on 12/04. Was told I’d receive a text & email but didn’t. Then did a claim online on 13/04 & it said I’d get an email. Again, I didn’t. Please can you advise what the next steps are to get this processed?

Today’s #BeThankful is for a moment of innocence and magic while out on a walk with this one just now. If ever there was a moment to melt your heart it was this. The power of animals really is quite something 🥰🐾

So when your train is delayed by close to 50 minutes and you have have to pick your child up from dancing and have chores to do when you get in, you have to #BeThankful for your mum and stepdad coming to the rescue! Child picked up and bins out by the time I got home ❤️

Perks of going into the office… when you’re offered a Cadbury’s Creme Egg 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Having forgotten my glasses today & it being my first day back in after holiday, just the pick me up I needed this afternoon when I was starting to flag a little. Definitely worth a #BeThankful .

March and April have become challenging months for Team Charlesworth. This is the first year since the world imploding in 2020 that I’ve taken time off around this time. It’s time to reset this period for us. And take a bit of a social media detox too.
