March and April have become challenging months for Team Charlesworth. This is the first year since the world imploding in 2020 that I’ve taken time off around this time. It’s time to reset this period for us. And take a bit of a social media detox too.

Well, if you’re going to have some time off, what better way to start it than with a lovely brunch and catch up with a friend?! Today has been a chilled day which was just what I needed and that’s definitely something to #BeThankful for ❤️

Today’s #BeThankful is for getting a fairly major part of the to do list for CharlieFest and fundraising ticked off. And also for the time and generosity that has been shown to me in getting it to this point. Can’t wait to see the finished product!

The year was 1998. The venue was The Marlowe Theatre. The first time I ever met Jason Donovan after Rocky Horror Show. The news that he’s going back into it in the UK has quite literally made my Mon & given me today’s #BeThankful . Without question the best thing I’ve ever seen him in 😍

The news this evening of Princess Kate once again reminds us that none of us have a scooby of what is going on in someone else's life.

They might be facing something you know nothing about.

Speaking as a ‘widow’ I can honestly say I am dumbfounded by this.

I am not separated from my late husband & would be more insulted & triggered if it was used. Mr C was recently referred to as my ‘ex-husband’ & the person saying it got shot down.

It’s been a funny old weekend. Wobbles. Tears. Vulnerability. Strength. Moving forward. Juggling 1,000 things. Time spent with family. Weekends like this can be tiring. But also something to #BeThankful for. All of it is just part of my very own rollercoaster and story 🎢❤️

I’m not sure whether I need to #BeThankful more for the fact I managed to get tickets for Pippin in Concert or that I’m no longer going to have to listen to Miss C wondering what Jac Yarrow is going into next!! 🎭

Today I’m going to #BeThankful for managing to catch the same train home as a friend. Meant we could have a well overdue catch up and natter. Best commute all week ❤️

Sometimes you just need to be reminded to have a bit of faith. Or as my sister told me, to be more George Michael. Today has been a day for that. Feeling a bit better and slightly less stressed this evening which is definitely worth my #BeThankful today ❤️
