Who is responsible for the death of Olerato Mongale? Olerato who decided to go on a date with a man she thought was nice? Or the man who murdered her because she is a woman?

Once again we are failing our children and our women. she should be allowed to rejected unwanted attention without being harassed for it. What can we do to protect her??

My heart goes out to all of the families and loved ones of those on the Air India flight. I pray for there to be survivors and for those who did not survive, I pray for peace for their souls 🙏

This fathers day I would like to give equal attention to those without fathers. Whether its from death, abandonment or other reasons, you are still loved even without the conventual parental breakdown. Let us honor those who stepped in as well, friends, family, etc 🫶

This just shows how much we are failing our children. We could not protect her and it looks like we've given up on protecting anyone else.

It should not require so many groups speaking out and demanding change for Whatsapp to take charge. Over the weekend Whatsapp finally shut down the accounts and gave the account owners information to the authorities. How are we supposed to protect our children if they wont help?

The story of Nonpumelelo Gumede breaks my heart beyond repair. Waking up everyday to see a new name we must remember and carry with us and a new story is too much for anyone to bare. We need to do our part to end GBV and protect those that we love.

Sometimes I wonder how many of us are carrying grief we were never meant to know. Gender-based violence is not just a crisis, it is a quiet war on our bodies, our peace, and our futures. We deserve softness. We deserve safety. Always. 💔 #GBV #EndFemicide #AmINext

They said our voices were too loud. So we turned hashtags into homeplaces, and grief into movements. From #AmINext to #TotalShutdown, young women are not just speaking—they are reshaping the country, one post, one protest, one truth at a time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the children and families of Annunciation Catholic School. As well as my heartfelt condolences to the families of the children who were killed. A school is supposed to be a safe place for growth and learning, so is a church. This was an evil act.

Her story breaks my heart. It reminds us how deeply gender-based violence scars this world, stealing women’s safety and silencing their dreams. We need a world where women’s dignity is non-negotiable, and where justice means protection, not just words. #JusticeForIrynaZarutska

Today my heart is broken. I feel like every day I see a new name in the news, Iryna Zarutska, Charlie Kirk, Keitumetse Mashego We live in a world that has made hate and violence acceptable and must do our best to save it.

Young girls in Cape Town are being targeted by predators and failed by a system that refuses to protect them. Our children deserve safety, not silence

This girl went missing Monday in Eersterivier, Cape Town, at around 10 AM after going out to pick up bread from a nearby shop. Please keep an eye out and help find her.

On 21 November, South African women will withdraw their power. 💜 We are standing still to be heard, no work, no silence about violence. Until this country stops burying women, there can be no real progress. Women For Change #WomenForChange #UnburyTheTruth #G20

What happened in Alexandra today is a reminder that women and girls in South Africa are still not safe enough. Protecting women and children is not optional it is a national responsibility. Enough is enough. #justice #alexandra
