Got a chance to go for a drive last night and check some WesternAg North West Sask. Western Ag optimized wheat fields with low N recommendations. The last pic had no N applied other than the little that came with the applied 11-52-0-0.

Had a chance to follow up on 3 canola fields optimized by WesternAg North West Sask. for high yields but recommended only modest applied N due to high soil N supply. Applied N as follows: Pic 1 is 80 lbs N. Pic 2 is 70 lbs N. Pic 3 is 60 lbs N.

I swept a few #peaaphids from the #lentils today. Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Yes. That's 45 ml and 10mls of aphids. Don't ask how many that is...yet. they are on ice currently.

Here is our table, designed by Ningxing Zhou from the Prager Lab in her MSc project determining the economic threshold for #peaaphids in #lentils Science. = It's not just a wild-ass guess anymore.
