Yesterday I shared page views on the voter info site Taylor Swift linked to. Here’s actual data compiled by Tom Bonier

So there's now comparison data showing a huge Taylor Swift effect for vote.gov. Over 24 hours, 405,999 visitors were referred to the site from Swift's IG story. From Sept. 3-9, the site got ~30,000 visitors a day. (Obvi, visitors ≠ registrations!) Elena Moore

NEW: GSA gives NPR an update on # of visits to vote.gov via Taylor Swift's instagram story: - 405,999 people visited the site via Swift's link in the 24 hour period when the story was live - In comparison: btwn 9/3-9/9 the site had abt 30,000 daily visits

this is 13.5x the daily average of site visits but again site visits are not voter registrations and they're not votes

That's more than 13.5x the number of site visits with Taylor's suggestion...
