Is “Teacher of the Year” legitimate if nominations aren’t from the very students we serve? If only teachers nominate/vote, then “Colleague of the Year” is a standard popularity contest. Does that inspire collegial equity or camaraderie? We must remember our why. 👍🏼#StudentsFirst

It’s not the # of students in our classrooms, but the human beings we’re fortunate to impact along the way. Whether 10 or 110 in the room is irrelevant; making connections is the highest priority and absolute best result in turn. They’re more than a number and my #1 priority. 🙌🏼
