Did you know that over 550 residents doctors work in the Maritimes every day? They practice in over 50 specialties as diverse as plastic surgery, radiology, and pediatrics. Like Marissa, a fourth year resident in psychiatry - another of the specialties. #ResidentAwareness

The journey of women in medicine is one worth celebrating during International Women's Day today. Much progress made, still more to be made. Happy to be part of the story with members from our past, present and future. New Doctors, New Ideas, for better health care. #IWD2021

Nova Scotians have done their part for a long year and a half. We’re eager for a sense of normal. It’s for that reason we can’t be reckless on our reopening strategy and cause another lockdown. Rapid testing was crucial to crush the 3rd wave. This isn’t the time to drop our lead.

We still don’t have great uptake DalAnesthesia of the Clinical Frailty Scale which seems crazy to me given it’s ease of scoring, broad uptake elsewhere, evidence base, and that it originated here Kenneth Rockwood I even tried to include it in a recent trial but nobody is scoring it!
