It will save many parents of newborn babies sleepless nights of worry in ICU, not to mention avoid cancellation of elective surgeries. The pilot programme last year led to a 76% drop in hospital admissions and 65% drop in ICU admissions of babies with RSV. Fantastic. 👏

This is incredible news - all babies under 6mo will be eligible for RSV immunisation from September 1st. This is will have an even bigger impact on our PICU beds than last year and save hundreds of infants and their families the stress of hospital admission 🥳👏🏻
