The #MQTT_SN standardization committee has received a proposal from u-blox for lightweight message integrity protection. It's based on the CoAP COSE approach, intending to be simpler than DTLS. issues.oasis-open.org/browse/MQTT-584.

I've released 1.3.10 of the Eclipse Paho #MQTT C client: github.com/eclipse/paho.m… There are no external changes, but I have switched to use the poll system call instead of select, for a number of reasons (the USE_SELECT compile definition will revert).
