1/2 I don’t like to read, says a new student in Oct. What are you interested in, I ask? Not books, he replies. We look at sports & GN. He humors me & takes one home. Going forward, he keeps checking out. Is he reading? Hard to tell. Until today.

2/2 Kid turned in Zita the Spacegirl while reccing it enthusiastically to classmate. It’s a series, I say! We find the others & Mighty Jack series & crossover. How many books can I check out, he asks? And that is why this is my fav job ever. Brian Hatke Rock Hill Schools SCASL
