I felt I needed more open-ended and free choice of materials in our room so I invited families to send in recycled items. And enter the Maker Space cart! Here students have the ability to create, explore and add materials as they wish. You see a “castle” and “beach” #LetThemPlay

Our Grade 3 and 4 students have partnered with @HelpingCochrane and have worked hard to make positive signs to display around town! These are amazing! #rvsed

We would like to take this opportunity to announce the retirement of our longest-serving staff member. Mr. Wayne Willberg, our Child Development Advisor, has been with our school for just over 30 years, and has had such a positive impact on thousands of children. #rvsed

Our Breakfast Program has been running since the start of the school year, and we are seeing about 150 students per day accessing food. Here’s a sample of some of the food available: toast, eggs, fruit, vegetables as well as yogurt and milk. A huge thank you to our team! #rvsed
