Institute researchers Richard Mair and Richard Gilbertson are leading the Minderoo Foundation Precision Brain Tumour Programme at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS. So far, the tumours of over 140 patients have been genomically sequenced, meaning they can be offered a more detailed diagnosis and tailored treatment plan.
