Tickets are now available for the first CreativeMornings/Derby road trip! This amazing event is a collaboration with CivicLAB, is hosted in the roof garden The Multi-Faith Centre and we have Down To Earth Jamie Quince-Starkey as our speaker on the global theme of Wildernesses 🌳

Yes, my strawberry patch is ridiculous, chaotic and sprawling, but it is a joy. Not just the fruit; the bees, the cheeky klepto blackbirds and the smell of bruised herb robert. Down To Earth

Hi Gang! 🌱 Thought we'd share some highlights from the first two days of the Anthropy Event at Eden Project. DTE has been rubbing shoulders with, and learning from, some of the most influential people in the world of sustainability, and loving every minute of it. 💚

I was thrilled to hear Julia Cleverdon mention #Derby in her opening remarks on the “State of our Cities” at #Anthropy23. Many talked to us & everyone is buzzing about our potential in these progressive circles. Along with Down To Earth, I’m here to help turn the buzz in to action.

We've been collaborating with Down To Earth & Horizons Sixth Form St Martins School to boost #BiodiversityinDerby. They worked on increasing levels of urban pollinators through clever planting of native wildflowers & winter crops in planters across the city. A 🧵👇

3. all Students increasingly felt able to improve their environment. They gained confidence and saw rising levels of enjoyment, care and knowledge as they worked on the project with Down To Earth over 8 weeks...

4 Urban #NatureRecovery, even at small scale matters! White Mustard, White Clover, Common Daisy, Common Vetch & Lady’s Bedstraw in city centre planters offer opportunities for wildlife now & in future via seeds collected. Well done Down To Earth & Horizons Sixth Form 🐝🦋🌼

Thanks to Marketing Derby for sharing the news about our partnership and collaboration with Down To Earth - you can read the full story about how we brought our design expertise to their Electric Daisy community garden at buff.ly/3TGK4DM

Electric Daisy recently reopened and that means a new season of sustainability and reusable cups! We love to support businesses that are just as keen on sustainability and making the world greener one step at a time 🌍 Down To Earth #Sustainability #GreenBusiness #SmallBusiness
