Also attended Dr Robert Collins' talk on Irish America and the history of that relationship and why it still matters. Another very interesting talk which was held in The LPYMA

Finishing off Day Two of the Shannonside History Festival with Sharon Slater giving a talk in The People's Museum of Limerick about her 20 years of research and Limerick's Life. Fascinating to hear the amount of work and research she has put into it.

Looking forward to attending this event albeit virtually!

Looking at a heavily unfinished article after a conference presentation based on a draft and taking satisfaction in the feedback that's directing it to the next level.

Glad to say that my research visit to Paris funded by Royal Irish Academy has been going swimmingly. What started off as an investigation into events in Vienna has led me on a trail to eighteenth-century Paris, Dantzig, Rome and Constantinople of all places.
